After a brief period of working within the catering industry in the Lichfield area upon leaving school, I joined the Royal Navy at the age of 18. During my 26 years’ service I was employed in many different positions and spent a total of 17 years at sea, serving onboard 9 different ships. After working my way up through the ranks, the pinnacle of my military career was appointment to the brand new aircraft carrier (HMS Queen Elizabeth) as Chief Caterer, Accounts, bringing her into service. My final position within the Royal Navy was working with and developing university students within the Oxford area. During this period, I achieved a BSc in Logistics Management and qualified as a Financial Advisor in my spare time.
I have always been interested in personal finance and have been an investor for many years. I also enjoy working with and helping people so a second career as a Financial Advisor seemed to be an obvious choice.
I really enjoy helping clients navigate financial decisions, plan for the future and reach their goals. There is nothing more satisfying professionally than making a positive impact on a client’s life whether that be saving and investing for a special event or purchasing that dream home.
